This story was very cute, romantic and well written. I just personally did not vibe with everything, maybe it was the single-mom aspect? I am not sure. Knox was very sweet, over protective and I did swoon at multiple of his lines, but you know me, a book with police investigation will always be superior. That's why Indigo Ridge is still my favorite.

I loved the mystery element of the story. I love that it's not predictable and really kept you guessing until the final revelations. I also loved the relationship between Winn and Griff. Winnie is no push over and she doesn't take any of Griff's attitude. But it also doesn't take long for their chemistry to push past all of their boundaries and man was it satisfying to see Griff's possessive side show through.

I liked the sidecharacters, especially Griffin´s siblings and Winn´s pops. The storyline was really sweet and I loved how the epilouge already teased Juniper Hill. Griff is not one for entanglements of the heart himself. He's certainly not a relationship guy and he doesn't mess with the locals. So when he finds out that the beauty he shared one night with is the town's new chief of police, he's not exactly thrilled. He's also not entirely thrilled that she is doggedly investigating what is an apparent suicide in a long stream of suicides in the small town. INDIGO RIDGE' 📚 is the first full length small town romance book in the series 'The Edens', by Devney Perry. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

Overall Pace of Story: Good until the very end. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well otherwise. after being disappointed with Indigo ridge I started this with very low expectations but Deveney Perry really said I'm going to give you single parent excellence and SHE DID PEOPLE.

Talia Eden loved Foster Madden for one year, two months and eleven days. It was on day 438 that her love died. The day he chose to marry her best friend. The day she vowed never to think of Foster again.Serviced Touring Caravan / Motorhome pitches with 16 amp electric hook up, grey waste water point & fresh water point. Most pitches have space for an awning. so, the author positions this book like enemies to lovers and it’s not even nearly it. it’s just one-night stand to lover or something like that. but they had absolutely no banter or tension. winslow(h) and griffin(H) both are super boring people and i’m not interested in them or their lives at all. they literally have no personality atp and i won’t even remember their names a week later. there was even a line about their chemisty being “off the charts”.. they’re such clowns. Overall Pace of Story: Good for the most part. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well, but there were some time jumps throughout that made it seem a little odd or like I was missing something. The murder mystery was definitely fun and I was invested but sadly it was clear to me from the beginning who the killer was because most of these murder mystery stories are built up with the exact same story line of having a really obvious person that "should be the killer". OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: Yes An old ONS of the H comes around and causes some drama for the couple

I relate to female characters who don't have any unnecessary quirky traits, who are assertive, hard-working and reasonable. Her inner dialogues were super easy to follow and it was such a smooth ride. I think one of my favorite things about this book was once Memphis and Knox were together, they were together. He had already started developing a relationship with her son, which was the purest thing. And he gained her trust. There was no third act break up or any miscommunication. They were a team and supported each other. Memphis moves into Quincy to start fresh, away from her life and her family that have betrayed her over and over. She finds her way to Juniper Hill. But that also leads her to Knox Eden. The man of her dreams. The man she's needed her entire life. The one who makes her feel seen, who listens to her and holds her up when she's down. Who loves her, for her. Unconditionally and unapologetically. And to top it off, he loves her son too. Just as much as her, as if he were his own.Overall it was a really enjoyable read. It is a two POV book which we get to experience from Winn´s and Griffins POVs. The romance was sweet, the murder mystery was really good and with that I am looking foward to dive into Junper Hill. You can walk into both Portrush and Portstewart along the spectacular Port Path (also known as the Ulster Way / Causeway Coast Way), or enjoy off-road cycling or the regular scheduled bus service: all options start from just outside the Park. But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, especially to ensure a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life and becoming a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn, living in an apartment above a garage.
